RBCA offers small group gatherings to help residents meet others in the community who share common interests. Neighbors have participated in yoga classes, a cooking class, a board game activity, a wine tasting, several bike rides and a couple food tours of Richmond Beach restaurants.
What talent or interest do you have that others might share and lend themselves to a fun group activity? Would you be willing to help plan a small gathering of neighbors in order to meet people that share your passion?
Contact Teresa Pape at firstname.lastname@example.org with your ideas.
From 5:00 p.m. to dusk
Richmond Beach Saltwater Park

Pop up dinners originated 30 years ago in Paris with Diner en Blanc, an experience aimed at celebrating the city's beautiful public spaces. Now events take place throughout the world where guests gather at a secret location with the sole purpose of sharing a gourmet meal with friends at the heart of one of their city's most beautiful locations.
RBCA is planning a more casual version of this dining experience tailored especially for Richmond Beachers. The location isn't a secret, but the date is unknown because of our unpredictable Northwest weather. Sometime this summer, when the weather forecast appears favorable, RBCA will announce through various media, with about three days notice, a "Pop Up Picnic" at the Saltwater Park beach from 5:00 p.m. to dusk. RBCA will be handing out free beach toys; and later in the evening, there will be a fire in the beach shelter fire pit providing there is no fire ban in effect. Pickers are welcome to bring their guitars!
To ensure you receive notice of this last-minute event, sign up to get on RBCA’s email list, follow Richmond Beach Community Association on Facebook, check back here, or be on the lookout for signage.
